Learning Experience

Karate with Impact Kids - Impact Dojo! Our classes are high energy and full of fun and excitement.

In addition, students will learn the principals, history, and philosophy of Karate.

Each student will have access to a specifically tailored curriculum online that will be used as a guide to help them reach their full potential.

Classes are as much physical activity as they are education based. For us it is important that all of our students understand the importance of healthy living and to be of sound mind and body.

The main goal is for our students to be confident in themselves and build overall good character. And of course, along the way, have a great time while earning their ranking Karate belts.

Class Goals

Students will learn and improve their understanding of the principals of Karate, preventative thinking, situation response and action, bullying prevention & the importance of goal setting and pursuit of achieving those goals.

Parental Guidance

Students will need to wear their karate uniform and belt or comfortable loose clothes, have an open area so they can move around, and a bottle of water nearby! While we will definitely warm up and stretch in class, students are encouraged to stretch beforehand as well.

Meet the teachers

Sensei Vlad

Sensei Vlad has been training in the martial arts since he was 9 years old. He currently holds a 2nd degree black belt American Bu Kyu Karu Karate. He has been teaching kids Karate for 25 years. In addition to his karate background he is also a certified Kickboxing and self – defense instructor for children and adults.

Sensei Kristen

Sensei Kristen began training in martial arts when she was 13. She has achieved black belt rankings in a total of seven martial arts. She has a reputation for technical precision, attention to detail, and competitive spirit. Her passion lies in helping others enjoy the pursuit of self-fulfillment and self-discovery through martial arts.

Sensei Mike

Sensei Mike has been practicing martial arts for 40 years. He is a 5th degree black belt in hapkido and a 3rd degree in Karate. Sensei Mike loves spending time with his family and grandchildren and one of his greatest passions is teaching kids martial arts.

Sensei Oscar

Sensei Oscar began his martial arts journey at the young age of 7 years old. He holds black belts in multiple disciplines. In his free time Sensei Oscar loves to travel, read and spend time with his family. His passion for teaching began as an assistant instructor at his dojo and he has been teaching for over 20 years.

Coding

Our Coding program teaches students the basics of computer programming & problem-solving through hands-on projects.

Through engaging projects and challenges, students will learn how to write code, debug programs, and think logically.
